This Privacy Policy describes how Presence Scout ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use presencescout.com and our services.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email and billing details when you sign up.
• Tracking configuration: the prompts, keywords and brands you choose to monitor.
• Usage data: how you interact with the dashboard, collected to improve the product.

Free tools

Our free tools (such as the AI visibility checker and the buyer prompt generator) work without an account. When you use one, we keep what you enter (for example a website, a brand name, a question or a market) and the result, together with the IP address of your connection. We use the IP address to enforce each tool's daily limit and to make sure only you can open your result.

Some tools ask for your email to show the full result. If you give it, we store it with that result and may send you occasional product news. You can opt out by replying to any such email or writing to [email protected], and ask us to delete the record at any time. To produce a result, a tool sends what you entered, and for the prompt generator the text of the website you entered, to the AI provider that answers it (OpenAI or Google).

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics on our public pages (such as the homepage, pricing, blog and help pages) to understand where visitors come from and which pages they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard usage signals such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. We do not run Google Analytics inside the logged-in dashboard, so your activity as a customer is not shared with Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. On the same public pages we use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised interaction sessions (clicks, scrolls and page structure) and heatmaps to help us improve the site; like Google Analytics, it never runs inside the logged-in dashboard. We also set first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service, such as your sign-in session.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve the service, run the AI visibility checks you configure, process payments, and communicate with you about your account.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, payment, email and AI providers) under appropriate confidentiality terms.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our payment processor and the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Dodo Payments receives the name, email, billing address and payment details you enter at checkout. We never see your full card number.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time.
