If you run a business in India and want to know whether ChatGPT or Google's AI recommends you, the best AI visibility tools are the ones that check AI answers the way Indian buyers see them, and bill you in a currency that doesn't move every month. Most tools in this category are built and priced for the US and Europe. That's fine for a global brand. It's awkward for a coaching institute in Jaipur or a SaaS company in Bengaluru.

First, full disclosure: I make Presence Scout, so read this with that in mind. I read every competitor's pricing page from India on 23 September 2026, and every figure below comes from those pages. I link to each one so you can check them yourself.

What I'd look for if I were you

  • India as the market. Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode are built from Google results for the searcher's location. A tool that only checks from the US can tell you you're missing when your Indian buyers actually do see you, or the reverse.
  • Google rankings too. AI Overviews sit on top of Google's ordinary results rather than replacing them, and your buyers still click through to those results. A tool that tracks both saves you a second subscription.
  • A price you can plan around. Dollar and euro prices change with the exchange rate, and most Indian cards add a foreign-currency markup on top.
  • Enough prompts for your market. Twenty to fifty prompts, in the words your buyers actually use, is a real start.

1. Presence Scout

I'll start with mine, and I'll keep it factual. Of the seven, it's the only one I found priced in rupees, and that was a deliberate choice. The Starter plan is ₹2,499 a month for up to 50 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, plus 100 Google keywords and three brands. Growth, at ₹7,999, adds Gemini, 200 prompts, 400 keywords and ten brands. If you just want to try it, the free plan tracks 5 prompts and 10 keywords.

You can set your market to India, or to a city such as Jaipur or Pune. Google rankings are then checked there, and AI Overviews and AI Mode are checked as they appear in India. Every check keeps the full answer and the sources it cited, and a site audit tells you whether AI crawlers can read your pages at all.

I made tracking weekly because it's efficient. Rankings and AI answers for a fixed set of prompts move slowly, and a weekly check shows you the trend without the day-to-day noise. Your plan's allowance goes into covering more of your market, with more prompts and keywords, instead of repeating the same ones every day.

2. Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI starts at $29 a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. If you only want to watch a handful of prompts, it's an inexpensive way to do it. Just know that it doesn't track Google rankings, and you'll pay in dollars.

3. Track My Visibility

Track My Visibility lets you try it for 7 days for $5, then it's $50 a month for 25 prompts on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. The next plan, Growth, starts at $400 a month, so there's a big jump if you outgrow it.

4. Promptrack

Promptrack has one plan at €99 a month: 200 prompts checked weekly on six engines, including Claude and Copilot, with unlimited brands. If you're an agency with many clients, I'd look at it seriously, as long as paying in euros works for you.

5. Peec AI

Peec AI starts at $95 a month for 50 prompts on three models you pick, tracked daily, for one project. Pro, at $245, raises that to 150 prompts and two projects. It's built for teams who want deep analytics.

6. SE Ranking

SE Ranking is $129 a month: a full SEO suite with AI tracking built in, checking 2,000 keywords daily. If you already pay for it, switch on its AI tracking before you buy anything else. That's the advice I'd give a friend.

7. Semrush

Semrush starts at $165.17 a month, billed yearly, for 50 prompts and 500 keywords, checked daily. Like SE Ranking, it tracks far more keywords than the dedicated AI tools above. Same advice: if you're already on it, start there.

How I'd choose, depending on you

  1. You're already on Semrush or SE Ranking? Use their AI tracking first.
  2. You need Claude or Copilot? Promptrack covers both; Otterly.AI covers Copilot.
  3. You want Google rankings and AI answers, checked for India and billed in rupees? That's exactly what I built Presence Scout for.

Whichever you pick, do one thing first: run my free AI crawler checker on your site. It's quick, and it shows whether AI crawlers can read your pages at all. If they can't, AI engines can't read your site, and no tracker can change that.

And if you want a closer look at tools that track both Google and AI answers, I wrote a comparison of rank and AI visibility trackers too.

Frequently asked questions

Do AI answers differ for users in India?

Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode are built from Google results for the searcher's location, so they can name different brands in India than in the US. Check them with India as the market, not the tool's default.

Why does paying in rupees matter?

A dollar or euro subscription changes with the exchange rate every month, and most Indian cards add a foreign-currency markup on top. A rupee price is the same on every statement.

How many prompts does a small Indian business need?

Twenty to fifty is enough to start: the questions buyers ask when choosing a product like yours, plus a few comparisons with named competitors. Add more once you see which ones move.
