Best Tools That Track Google Rankings and AI Visibility Together

If you want to see your Google rankings and your AI visibility in one place, you'll find very few tools that do both. Most rank trackers stop at Google, and most AI visibility tools stop at ChatGPT and its peers. When I compared the pricing pages of tools that cover both in one dashboard, four made my list: Presence Scout, Semrush, SE Ranking and Ahrefs.

First, full disclosure: I make Presence Scout, so read this with that in mind. Every competitor figure below comes from the vendor's own pricing page, which I read on 23 September 2026, and each one links to its source. Prices change, so please check before you buy.

What I mean by "together"

A tool earns a place on my list if one subscription covers all of the following:

• Google keyword positions, for keywords you choose, over time.
• AI answers, for prompts you choose, on more than one engine.
• Competitors in both, so you can see who outranks you and who gets named instead of you.

I cover the tools that do only one side at the end.

1. Presence Scout

This is the one I built, and tracking both was the whole point. Both are included on every plan, free included, so neither side is an add-on. The Starter plan costs $29 a month (₹2,499 in India) for up to 50 prompts on four AI engines, 100 Google keywords and three brands. Growth, at $99, covers 200 prompts on all five engines including Gemini, 400 keywords and ten brands. A free plan tracks 5 prompts and 10 keywords.

I made checks weekly by design. Rankings and AI answers for a fixed set of prompts move slowly, a weekly check shows the trend, and the plan goes further on covering more prompts and keywords instead of repeating the same ones every day.

Where the suites below go further: higher keyword limits. I'd pick it if: you're a small team or agency and want both views without an enterprise SEO bill, or you're in India and want rupee billing and city-level Google results.

2. Semrush

Semrush's Starter plan is the lowest tier with AI tracking: 50 prompts tracked daily for one domain, across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, alongside 500 tracked keywords. Pro+ raises that to 100 prompts and 1,500 keywords. It's the broadest SEO suite here, and priced like one.

I'd pick it if: your team already lives in Semrush. Adding AI visibility to the same account is the easy move.

3. SE Ranking

SE Ranking's Core plan tracks 2,000 keywords daily and includes an AI results tracker for AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT. The AI Search add-on, listed at $89 a month, adds 200 or more tracked prompts and a dashboard for brand mentions, citations and sentiment.

I'd pick it if: you want the most Google keywords per dollar, with AI tracking as an add-on.

4. Ahrefs

Ahrefs' Lite plan tracks 750 keywords and includes 5 tracked AI prompts. Brand Radar, its dedicated AI visibility product, starts at $199 a month and adds research across its database of organic prompts.

I'd pick it if: you already use Ahrefs and only want to watch a handful of prompts, or you're ready to pay for Brand Radar's deep AI research.

AI-only tools, for comparison

You'll also come across two popular tools that track AI answers but not Google keyword rankings:

• Otterly.AI starts at $29 a month for 15 prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot.
• Peec AI starts at $95 a month for 50 prompts on three models of your choice, tracked daily, for one project.

Both are dedicated AI visibility tools. If you need Google positions too, you'd pair either one with a separate rank tracker.

How I'd choose, depending on you

1. You already pay for Semrush or Ahrefs? Turn on their AI tracking first. It's the cheapest way to start, because you're already paying for the suite.
2. You need thousands of keywords checked daily? SE Ranking gives the most keywords for the money.
3. You want both views for the least money, or need to know why AI skips you? Presence Scout covers both from $29, with cited sources, an action plan and a site audit included. That's the job I built it for.
