Peec AI is one of the best-known AI visibility trackers, and a good one. But at $95 a month to start, with three AI models per plan and no Google rankings, it isn't the right fit for everyone. I read the pricing pages of six Peec AI alternatives to see what else is out there.

First, full disclosure: I make Presence Scout, one of the six, so I'm not neutral. Every figure below comes from each vendor's own pricing page, linked in the text. Prices change, so check before you buy.

What Peec AI offers

Peec AI calls itself "AI search analytics for marketing teams". Its pricing page lists:

  • Starter: $95 a month for 50 prompts, checked daily, on 3 models you choose from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI.
  • Pro: $245 a month for 150 prompts across 2 projects.
  • Advanced: $495 a month for 350 prompts, multi-country tracking and Looker Studio.

Extra models cost more each month, and annual billing saves 15%. Peec AI tracks AI answers only; it doesn't track your Google keyword rankings.

Why people look for an alternative

From what Peec's own page shows, the usual reasons are:

  • Price. $95 is a big first step for a small team or a single brand.
  • Engine limits. Three models per plan means choosing between, say, Gemini and AI Overviews.
  • No Google rankings. You still need a separate rank tracker for your keywords.

1. Presence Scout

Presence Scout tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode on Starter, $29 a month (₹2,499 in India), for up to 50 prompts and 100 Google keywords across 3 brands. Growth, $99 a month, adds Gemini, 200 prompts and 10 brands. The free plan covers 5 prompts and 10 keywords.

The difference from Peec is the Google rank tracker in the same dashboard, including the local map pack, so you see your rankings and AI answers for the same topics side by side. Checks run weekly, by design: the allowance goes into covering more questions and keywords instead of re-asking the same few daily. I've written a fuller Presence Scout vs Peec AI comparison if you want the detail.

2. Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI starts at $29 a month for 15 prompts, checked daily, on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. Gemini, AI Mode and Claude are paid add-ons. Standard is $189 a month for 100 prompts. Every plan includes ChatGPT ads tracking.

3. LLM Pulse

LLM Pulse charges €49 a month for 50 prompts checked weekly, or €79 checked daily, covering ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Mode and AI Overviews on every plan. A prompt counts once no matter how many models it runs on. Weekly plans come with a 14-day trial that needs a payment card.

4. Rankscale

Rankscale works on credits rather than prompts. Essentials is $17 a month, billed yearly; Pro is $99 a month. It lists 17+ engines on every plan and lets you check hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. Unused credits roll over.

5. Trakkr

Trakkr is $100 a month for one brand with 50 daily prompts on 8 models, including Claude, Grok and DeepSeek, with no per-model fees. Its 14-day trial needs a card.

6. Profound

Profound offers a free 7-day trial with 50 daily prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews. After that it's Enterprise only, priced on a demo call, with up to 9 engines.

How to choose

  • On a small budget: start with a free plan or a $29 tier, and move up once you know which prompts matter.
  • Need Google rankings too: pick a tool that tracks both, or budget for two tools.
  • Need many engines: Rankscale or Trakkr cover the most, including Claude and Grok.
  • Daily or weekly: daily suits fast-moving launches; weekly across more prompts shows a steadier trend for most brands.

Whichever you pick, check what each number is based on. I explain how Presence Scout runs its checks, and where any tracker has limits, in how we check the AI engines.
