AI visibility

Benchmarking against competitors

Your visibility only means something next to everyone else's. The Competitors page ranks every brand the AI named across your prompts, including ones you never thought to track.

Reading the leaderboard

  • Visibility: the share of checks where that brand was named. Compare this to your own row; that gap is the real scoreboard.
  • Avg. pos., where the brand tends to land in the AI's running order. Being named eighth is very different from being named first.
  • Detection: the share of your prompts where the brand appears at least once, on any engine.
  • Top 3: how often the brand lands in the first three named. This is the position that gets clicked and remembered.
  • Sentiment: how the AI characterises that brand.
  • Mentions: the raw count behind the percentages.
Brands appear here because the AI named them, not because you added them. A competitor you have never heard of showing high visibility is one of the most useful signals in the product. It is who the AI thinks you are competing with.

Getting the most from it

  1. 1Add the brands you care about under Settings → Competitors so they appear in the Overview trend chart too.
  2. 2Look for brands with high Detection but low Top 3. They are named often but weakly, which is a beatable position.
  3. 3Open Citations to see which sources mention the leaders, then work those sources.
